Open forums for Director of Public Safety, Chief of Police, slated this week

The first of the three finalists for the Director of Public Safety, Chief of Police, holds his open forum today (April 17). The campus community is encouraged to attend the forums and share reactions with the search committee.

Each candidate will address his background, goals for campus policing and public safety and how he would spend his first semester at Bowling Green State University. After the presentations, there will be time for questions.

Chief Michael Campbell, interim director of public safety at Bowling Green State University, will hold his forum at 3 p.m. today (April 17) in 201 Bowen-Thompson Student Union.

Lt. Edward Dreslinski, lieutenant with the Ann Arbor Police Department, will hold his forum at 3 p.m. Wednesday (April 19) in 206 Union.

Chief Jeffrey Scott, chief of police at Notre Dame College, will hold his forum at 3:15 p.m. Thursday (April 20) in 308 Union.
