Fall 2023 Commencement
Beginning Oct. 9, the ceremony RSVP form will be sent to each graduate's BGSU email, and additional ceremony information will be shared on the BGSU Commencement website. The RSVP form will remain open through Nov. 17. Graduates must complete the RSVP form in order to attend their ceremony and receive eight (8) electronic guest tickets.
Fall Commencement ceremonies are broken down by college as follows:
Doctoral Hooding Ceremony
Friday, Dec. 8
3:30 p.m.
Donnell Theatre
Wolfe Center for the Arts
- Official hooding ceremony for doctoral degree candidates from the Graduate College
- Reading of candidate's name, faculty advisor and dissertation title

Commencement Ceremony
Friday, Dec. 8
7 p.m.
Stroh Center
- Doctoral and master's degree candidates from the Graduate College
- Bachelor's degree candidates from:
- Health and Human Services
- Musical Arts
- Technology, Architecture and Applied Engineering
- Associate and bachelor’s degree candidates from Firelands College
- Learn more about the ceremony

- Bachelor's degree candidates from:
