Certified Rescue Tech

Designed for current rescue company members or any highly motivated rescuers who want to take their technical skills past the FF-2 level. This program will take everything you are taught and put it on the line. Rope, trench, confined space, structural collapse, vehicle/machinery extrication and water rescue will be covered in this intense hands-on program.

Each module will begin in the classroom where the operational and safety aspects will be discussed. Then we move to the field where progressive instruction will build your knowledge, skills and abilities to a point where your team will be challenged to command and mitigate a real life scenario that will push you to higher skill and confidence levels.

Students must be prepared to work in all types of weather and under physically and mentally challenging conditions. You must be in good physical condition to participate in this demanding program.

  • Students must supply a copy of a valid 36-Hour Volunteer, 240 Basic Firefighter certificate, or equivalent with registration form.
