    1. Graduation Application

To become a candidate for a graduate degree or certificate, a student must submit a graduation application by the deadline established by the Graduate College for the semester of intended completion.

Application deadlines are established by the Graduate College and posted on its website.

Candidates who do not complete program requirements will be withdrawn from graduation and must reapply in a subsequent semester.

    2. Minimum Registration Requirement

All graduate students must be registered for a minimum of one credit hour during the semester in which they apply for graduation, with the following exceptions:

      1. Students do not need to be registered at BGSU while completing an approved transfer course at another institution that is required for their program.
      2. Students who have completed all program requirements prior to 5 p.m. Eastern time on the first day of classes in the semester they have applied to graduate, and were enrolled in the immediately preceding semester, are not required to meet the minimum registration requirement.
