Humay Gasimzade to Release a Recording on the Innova Records Label

Pianist Humay Gasimzade, who completed the DMA in Contemporary Music in 2022, was recently awarded the opportunity to commercially release a recording through Innova Records, the in-house label of the American Composers Forum. Gasimzade's proposal was one of 15 selected from a pool of 169 applicants. Gasimzade will release a CD of recently written solo piano pieces by Azerbaijani composers.  Some of the works on the CD were commissioned by her and the subject of her doctoral research at BGSU.
