Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble reviewed by Opera News

Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble's recent album, Hushers, has been reviewed by Joshua Rosenblum of Opera News.  Quince originated at BGSU, founded by voice students Amanda DeBoer Bartlett (DMA 2012), and Kayleigh Butcher (MM 2011).  Later they were joined by Liz Pearse (DMA pending), and soprano Carrie Henneman Shaw.  The very favorable review in the internationally respected periodical called them "... the Anonymous 4 of new music."   Another quote:  "This disc is well worth hearing for its sheer novelty, and for the unusual, thoroughly impressive artistry of its four singer/members."
