BGSU Alumni in Collaboration with members of the New York Philharmonic
Anna Vasilyeva, 2011 BGSU graduate from the piano studio of Professor Thomas Rosenkranz, was recently featured in the Manhattan School of Music Faculty Recital, New York, where she collaborated with Roger Nye (bassoon), Robert Langevin (flute) and Liang Wang (oboe) of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as with a saxophonist Paul Cohen. The program included duo sonatas by C. Saint-Saëns, R. Strauss and S. Cohen, a trio by M. Roesgen-Champion, and a quintet by C. M. Loeffler. Anna is currently holding a Staff Accompanist position at Mason Gross School for the Arts at Rutgers University, and she teaches at her private studio in Manhattan.
