Practice experiences provide students the opportunity to understand, perform, and refine professional competencies in a variety of settings. The program provides students with practice activities in the form of direct-care experiences. The direct care practice experiences are included in the following nursing courses: NURS 3098, NURS 4208, NURS 3900 and NURS 4048. Each activity has a direct care component requiring students to educate participants based on data students acquired regarding various health care needs.
