Olive H. Schlink Nursing Scholarship

Apply to the Schlink scholarship

The Albert G. and Olive H. Schlink Foundation established the Olive H. Schlink Nursing Scholarship in 1986. Since that time, the fund has impacted hundreds of BGSU nursing students.

Who is eligible?

Registered nurses who are pursuing their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in the RN to BSN program at BGSU

Scholarship requirements

• Must be enrolled in the RN to BSN program in the College of Health and Human Services at BGSU
• May be a full-time or part-time student
• Must be in good academic standing
• Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need

Award criteria

• Award amounts vary.
• Recipients may use awards for tuition and other educational expenses. The funds for continuing students will be placed in financial aid packages on their MyBGSU account.
• This scholarship may be renewable, but repeat awards are not automatic. Recipients must reapply and continue to meet all scholarship criteria to be considered for repeat awards.
• The amount and number of awards, including any repeat awards, shall be determined by the monies available in the fund’s spending account and made at the discretion of the College of Health and Human Services.
