M.M. composition student Yimin Wu selected for premiere in Hong Kong

Congratulations to Yimin (Edward) Wu (MM 19) who is one of six composers participating in The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Composers Scheme 2018/19 in Hong Kong. Selected competitively to be commissioned for a new orchestral work, his composition Wedge 楔 will be premiered by the Hong Kong Philharmonic under the baton of Maestro Jung-Ho Pak on February 23, 2019. Wu is currently pursuing his Master of Music degree in composition at Bowling Green State University, and has studied with Mikel Kuehn and Marilyn Shrude.
