Liuling Liu, Ph.D.
Dr. Liuling Liu joined Bowling Green State University (BGSU) as Assistant Professor in August 2013. She received her Ph.D. in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a M.S. in Actuarial Science from the University of Kent in the U.K. Before joining BGSU, she served as a visiting scholar at the Stern School of Business of New York University and Fordham University.
Dr. Liu’s area of teaching and research include financial markets and institutions, corporate finance, and international finance. Her research has been published in several core academic journals such as Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Financial Stability, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Financial Service Research, among others. Her papers have been presented at many prestigious national and international conferences. She has received several research paper awards. She was also the recipient of 2019 Leadership Council Faculty Excellent Award-Research at BGSU.
