  • A Finance student team received a 3rd place in the Society of Financial Services Professionals (SFSP) National Industry Plan Competition in 2015
  • Finance students have the opportunity to participate in the Student Managed Investment Fund analyzing stocks and regions of the world and making recommendations on the investment of a real portfolio of funds provided by the BGSU Foundation
  • The new Business Research and Finance Trading Lab provides an opportunity for students to develop up-to-date and sophisticated investment and portfolio skills
  • Financial planning program is officially registered with the U.S. CFP Board for a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional certification
  • The mean gross income of financial planners/advisors with one to four years of experience was almost $100,000 in 2011
  • Financial Management Society (FMS), the Finance student organization, enables finance students to develop leadership abilities and to network with company representatives
  • Graduates of this program include Chief Financial Officers of international companies and a founder of a major software company
