We look forward to seeing you in May and we are aware that planning travel can be complicated given some uncertainties regarding the pandemic. That said, US borders are open and the requirements for showing proof of vaccination status and Covid testing are available here. These requirements are subject to change, so please visit the site regularly as you plan your trip.

Information about visas that may be required for entry to the United States are available here. If you need a letter of invitation for visa purposes, please let us know and we will promptly send you a letter.

Air travel: Toledo, Ohio is located 45 miles (70 km) from Detroit (Michigan) Metro Airport (DTW), affording nonstop flights from most North American cities and many locations in Europe and Asia. Transport from DTW to hotels can be arranged by local shuttle services, see Detroit Shuttle Service or Airport Parking Reservations. Uber and Lyft are additional options. To arrange ride shares, attendees can post flight arrival times into DTW so that transportation can be coordinated to limit costs. Please add your information to the Google Doc.

Alternatively, Cleveland Hopkins Airport is 100 miles (160 km) away with service to most cities in the USA and Canada. Toledo Metro Airport 15 miles away with service to and from Chicago and Charlotte, NC. A rental car will be required for transit from Cleveland.

By car: The meeting will be held on the Main Campus of the University of Toledo. The driving address is 2801 W. Bancroft St. Toledo, OH. Parking for conference attendees will be provided in Area 27B, which is a 12-minute walk to the Student Union

Parking in Area 27B is provided from 12 pm on Saturday the 21st, through 12 pm on Saturday the 28th.  Parking permits before or after those dates will cost $5/day and must be arranged individually by attendees through the U. Toledo parking portal.

ICTC 12 has arranged for rooms at a reduced conference rate at three nearby hotels, as well as rooms on site at residence halls at the University of Toledo.

University of Toledo Residence Halls

Please complete this form with your information and they will send you an email with a reservation booking link closer to May 2022. Completing this form will guarantee you a room in Ottawa House East, with a 10-minute walk to the conference sessions.  The Driving address is 1600 West Rocket Dr., Toledo, OH.

This residence hall room booking is for a private room within a two or three bedroom shared suite which includes a full bathroom, Internet access, air conditioning, laundry room and linens. Linens include pillow, pillowcase, sheets, blanket, washcloth and towels.

You will be placed in a shared suite with other attendees of ICTC 12. There is a special request box on the form where you can indicate preferred suite mates in your assigned suite.
