Admission

  • Declare your major and/or minor at the Academic Advising & Planning Office in 253 Central Hall.  Advisors in this office can assist in planning your initial courses and developing a graduation plan.

Recomendations

  • Maintain a 2.50 or higher GPA to be eligible for field experiences (THEM 3870, 4880)
  • Complete THEM 1900, 2100, 2150, during the first year, as these courses are  prerequisites for the remaining major requirements. 
  • A minor is not required, but, depending on the student’s career goals, minors are encouraged.  Most common minors include, Marketing, General Business, International Business, Entrepreneurship, and Journalism.
