The BGSU Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree gives you a smart start to your business or finance career. In as little as 12 months, you can set yourself apart from the competition by earning a master’s in accountancy degree in addition to your baccalaureate degree.

Become eligible – and better prepared – to take the CPA exam. BGSU's accountancy graduate program meets the Ohio State Board of Accountancy requirements for obtaining a CPA designation: an accounting baccalaureate degree and 30 additional semester hours of coursework to meet the 150-hour requirement.

Curriculum

The MAcc requires a minimum of 30 semester hours. This is comprised of a total of 10 courses: 8 required core courses, and 2 elective courses. These required core courses cover the fundamentals of accounting in a business context.
