FAQ

Prospective-Student

Click on the register link in the left column, which will take you to the registration form.

No, all registration forms must be submitted and paid online.

No. If you fill out the registration form and pay in full, your son/daughter is accepted into the camp. After you submit the form, make sure you get a confirmation that it went through. Some of the camps have auditions after the students arrive, which will be communicated to you leading up to the camp.

If your son/daughter is taking medication, please indicate it on the medical form. If you need the camp staff to dispense the medication, you should fill out the “Permission to Dispense Medication by Camp Program Staff” form, on the Forms tab. If your son/daughter is capable of taking their own medication, they are welcome to continue doing that during camp.

Parking passes are distributed at check-in.

Students who are residents during camp can receive a parking pass for the week that will allow them to park in the dorm parking lot. We do not allow resident students to drive their car during the week, unless prearranged with the camp staff. Students who are commuters can receive a parking pass that will allow them to park in lots near the dining hall and rehearsal facilities. Parents who are coming to the final concert on Friday will receive a parking pass at check-in that allows them to park near the dorm and performance facility.

SMI is not responsible for reimbursing parking tickets.
