Dr. Jerry Schnepp, associate professor of visual communication technology and director of BGSU’s Collab Lab, has been recognized with the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering Faculty Excellence Award for 2018. The award is based on excellence in teaching, research and service to the profession.

Dr. Angela Falter Thomas, associate professor in the BGSU School of Teaching and Learning, is bringing active learning techniques and English to education majors at Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, as a Fulbright Scholar this year. The experience has been a ‘reality Czech,” she said, and very rewarding.

Heppe advised graduate candidates from the colleges of Arts and Sciences and Education and Human Development that choices “will define your life’s journey.”

BGSU’s new interdisciplinary Master of Music in Performance: Specialization in Voice Science and Pedagogy combines coursework in music singing teaching and communication sciences and disorders. The Bowling Green State University rugby team is celebrating its 50th anniversary in style. The Falcons defeated St Joseph’s University (Philadelphia) 26-7 on Sunday (December 2) in Charlotte, North Carolina, to win the fall 2018 men’s D1AA national championship. The Falcons defense smothered the Hawks all game.
