Music Ambassadors

Music Ambassadors is an organization of undergraduate music majors engaged in service activities in support of the College of Musical Arts at Bowling Green State University. Members of Music Ambassadors are available during audition programs and University recruitment events and serve as leaders, mentors and as a valuable resource for questions from prospective student and parents. They are also available during summer Orientation/Registration and Welcome Week activities in the fall.

In support of its motto of Vision, Guidance and Leadership, the Music Ambassadors exemplify these areas in its volunteer role for the college by providing a unique understanding of the many positive attributes that the college has to offer music students. During recruitment events, the ambassadors lead discussions about college life as music majors, answer questions and offer tips for success to students and parents.

Music Ambassadors are exemplary music students showing strength in all areas of academics, music performance, leadership and communication skills. The organization has served as a model to other departments/colleges at BGSU in its role of working directly with prospective students and their families when visiting campus. The organization was awarded a Dean’s Special Service Award in 2008 in appreciation for their service to the college.

Why be a Music Ambassador?
