On A Side Note

On A Side Note (OASN) is IU Indianapolis' one and only a cappella group, bringing together a diverse community of students with a shared love for music. Founded in 2016, this student-run organization is known for their energetic performances and a repertoire that spans from heartfelt ballads to powerful pop arrangements. Over the years, they've consistently taken the stage at ICCA, set to compete this upcoming January at Warren Central High School. With every performance, OASN showcases the power of collaboration, creativity, and the incredible voices that make their group one-of-a-kind.

The Parallels

The Parallels are a dynamic soprano/alto group from Ball State University, who are incredibly excited to perform for you tonight! Established in 2015, this group just finished celebrating its massive 10-year anniversary last season! Also known as “The Beauties in Blue Shoes,” they strive to create a home for musicians of different backgrounds to come together and spread joy through music. This year they are esspecially excited as they are back competing at ICCAs after their four-year hiatus.

Vocaholics

The Vocaholics is a student-ran premier cappella group at the University of Cincinnati, consisting of students from all majors. Over the years they have been awarded outstanding soloist, arrangement, VP, and choreography and have most recently received 1st place at the 2025 and 2026 quarterfinals and 4th place at the 2025 and 2026 semifinals. They have two albums currently released on all streaming platforms! Follow them on all socials to stay updated on all of their events, album releases, and more @ucvocaholics!

Ten40!

Ten40! is the premier Tenor/Bass a cappella group at Bowling Green State University! Performing independently since 2010, the group prides itself on friendship, musicality, and unforgettable moments of fun both on stage and around the community. Ten40! competes at ICCAs and has advanced to semifinals a handful of times. The most recent appearance was in 2023 .The ensemble also completes an annual tour at the conclusion of the spring semester, setting out across Ohio to perform, educate, and encourage musicianship both in schools and their surrounding communities.

AcousChicks

AcousChicks is a treble voice pop a cappella group from Bowling Green State University, founded in 2015 in response to the lack of a treble sound in the a cappella scene on campus —totally not because of Pitch Perfect (… though the timing is suspicious). Known for their signature royal blue, they love sharing music with the community and welcome singers from all musical backgrounds. AcousChicks has competed at ICCAs multiple times, placing 2nd in Quarterfinals and advancing to Semifinals in 2023. In 2024, they placed 3rd at Quarterfinals and won Outstanding Choreography for their performance of “What Happens When A Woman Takes Power?"

Unexpected Resolution

Tonal Eclipse

Tonal Eclipse is Bowling Green State University's premier competitive mixed a cappella group, founded in the fall of 2011. They regularly look to perform their repertoire of songs at a variety of events at BGSU, in the surrounding community, and at ICCAs. After winning best arrangement for two consecutive years and winning best choreography at the Midwest Quarterfinals, Tonal cannot wait for another busy and exciting year! Like all of the groups on campus, Tonal encompasses a wide variety of majors and courses of study, and places value in celebrating the multitude of musical backgrounds that exist among their members. They place a great emphasis on solidifying bonds between each other and with members of the other musical organizations on campus. Tonal Eclipse is proud to host the third-ever Acappellooza here at BGSU, and we thank you all so much for being here! Give it up for Tonal Eclipse!

Purdue Soundtracks

Soundtracks A Cappella is Purdue University's first contemporary co-ed a cappella group. Consisting of 18 members representing a variety of different majors and musical backgrounds, the student-run group comes together through a shared passion for music. Since their founding in 2016, Soundtracks perform fully self-arranged and self-choreographed sets that have earned them award-winning recognition. As an ensemble, they perform both on and off campus for the thrill of performing, the improvement of their skills as musicians, and hopefully your enjoyment as an audience! Let's give it up for Purdue Soundtracks!

The Voices of BGSU

Founded in 2013, The Voices at Bowling Green State University is a diverse concert choir dedicated to the performance of spiritual music. Through concerts in Bowling Green and communities across the nation, the ensemble celebrates community, inclusiveness, and culture through a shared passion for music and harmony.
