Campus ReStore

The Office of Campus Sustainability is working to reduce the amount of solid waste generated on campus while conserving natural resources through the practice of "re-use" at BGSU!

Campus ReStore

A periodic thrift sale that offers a wide variety of gently-used, donated items to BGSU students, faculty, & staff for free!

The Campus ReStore is located in the McDonald Hall Annex. Specifically, the northern section of the McDonald residence hall. ReStore customers should enter through the North door off of the Offenhauer Courtyard.

ReStore Rules

Fall ReStore events have limited attendance for your safety and in compliance with COVID-19 guidelines.

  • Masks are required for all individuals whenever they are present in the ReStore. No admittance without a properly worn mask. This mandate is in accordance with BGSU guidelines.
  • All items are free; however you may NOT take an "unlimited" amount of items.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities of any and all items.
  • Take only a "reasonable" amount, and consider the rights of others.
  • WE will determine what is considered a reasonable amount.
  • If one of our staff members approaches you and determines you are taking an unreasonable amount, you will be asked to return items to the tables.

When You Move Out, Don't Throw It Out!

This year marked BGSU’s Office of Campus Sustainability’s 19th annual "When You Move Out, Don’t Throw It Out" (WYMO) program, a campus-wide reuse and waste-reduction initiative! WYMO collects still-usable, but unwanted, items from students as they're moving out from the residence halls to prevent these items from getting sent to a landfill.

These items are then offered to local nonprofits as well as resold back to the campus community in a large ReStore Thrift Sale event during the summer.
