The BGSU Campus ReStore

The Office of Campus Sustainability is working to reduce the amount of solid waste generated on campus while conserving natural resources through the practice of "re-use" at BGSU!

The BGSU Campus ReStore

Operated by Campus Sustainability to reduce landfill waste and offer a wide variety of gently-used, donated items from campus to BGSU students, faculty, & staff!

The Campus ReStore is located in the McDonald Hall Annex which is the northern subsection of the McDonald Residence Hall. Campus ReStore patrons should enter through the sliding glass double-doors off of College Avenue, across from Life Sciences.

Donate to the ReStore!

We have a donation bin outside our main entrance! Available for anyone to drop off when the glass hallway doors are open, generally between 7:30am and 5pm.

Also, does your office or campus organization have unused supplies/items that others could find useful? Instead of sending them to the landfill, donate them to be reused through BGSU's ReStore thrift sale events!

2026 will mark BGSU’s Office of Campus Sustainability’s 24th annual "When You Move Out, Don’t Throw It Out" (WYMO) program, a campus-wide reuse and waste-reduction initiative! WYMO collects still-usable, but unwanted, items from students as they're moving out from the residence halls to prevent these items from getting sent to a landfill.

These items are then offered to local nonprofits as well as given back to the BGSU community at special ReStore events throughout the year.
