Marketing Scholarships
TO APPLY FOR A MARKETING SCHOLARSHIP:
Go to Academic Works to apply for all scholarships. The Marketing Department will require you to upload your resume.
Application process is active from October 1 through March 1 annually.
| Marketing Scholarships | Criteria |
| John R. Davidson Scholarship | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 3.0 minimum GPA; second semester juniors and first semester seniors eligible (graduating seniors not eligible) |
| Paul & Phyllis Duffie Book Scholarship | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 3.5 minimum GPA; career interest in professional selling; second semester juniors and first semester seniors eligible (graduating seniors not eligible) |
| Fred & Eleanor Fether Marketing Scholarship | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 3.0 minimum GPA; Greek members preferred; Bowling Green High School and Eastwood High School graduates preferred; current sophomores or juniors eligible |
| Gottron Marketing Scholarship | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; full-time student; 3.0 minimum GPA; demonstrated strong classroom participation, involvement in extracurricular activities and demonstrated leadership skills, preferably within marketing activities on campus; second semester sophomores, juniors and first semester seniors eligible (graduating seniors not eligible) |
| Marketing Faculty Book Scholarship | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 3.0 minimum GPA; second semester juniors and first semester seniors eligible (graduating seniors not eligible) |
| Service Marketing Institute Scholarship | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Sales/Services Marketing: full-time student; GPA of 3.0 or above: second semester juniors and first semester seniors eligible (graduating seniors not eligible). Preference given to applicants demonstrating “service minded” leadership to university and/or business communities; work/internship experience in sales/service industry |
| Communica Endowed Marketing Scholarship | Major in BSBA with specialization in Marketing; 3.0 minimum GPA; award based on financial need according to FAFSA; juniors and seniors eligible to apply. |
| David S. & Jill M. Hainline Marketing Scholarship | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 2.65 minimum GPA; current freshmen, sophomores, or juniors eligible and have shown involvement in the student organizations associated with the department and/or other campus organizations; award based on financial need according to FAFSA. |
| William J. Lawrence Scholarship | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Sales Marketing; 3.0 minimum GPA; award based on financial need according to FAFSA and show need as reported on the Student Aid Report (SAR) (graduating seniors not eligible) |
| Toledo Refining Company LLC Scholarship | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 3.0 minimum GPA; current freshmen, sophomores, or juniors eligible and have shown involvement and leadership in professional and/or extracurricular activities. |
| Institute for Excellence in Services Partnership | Major in BSBA with a specialization in Marketing; 3.0 minimum GPA; sophomores, juniors or seniors are eligible with preference given to applicants who have work/internship experience in a marketing or sales position; have been involved in on-campus or off-campus “business related” organizations; and have shown strong performance in marketing courses. |
