Doug serves his clients with more than 25 years of experience in the investment and wealth management field. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner as well as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). Doug is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Toledo Estate Planning Council.

Much of Doug’s business has focused in the qualified plan area, being one of the country’s 5000 Elite Defined Contribution Advisors measured by number of plans serviced and asset size. He also spends a significant time helping businesses with their cash flow and financing issues within a trademarked process called Business Vision Solutions™.

Doug is a graduate of Bowling Green State University in Ohio with degrees in finance and insurance.

As an active volunteer, Doug has served on several local school committees and community boards including Neighborhood Properties, Inc. in Toledo, The Victory Center of Northwest Ohio, West Side Montessori School, and Brookside Church. Having a passion for the school funding problem in Ohio in particular, Otsego Local Schools is another place you might find Doug spending his time. He enjoys sports, particularly tennis and running, and helps coach children’s baseball and softball teams. Reading, being a necessity in the world of finance, is also a passion; preferred reading includes biographies of successful people, business development books, and for fun, techno thrillers. His favorite author is Robert Ludlum.

Doug, his wife, Tonya, and their children, Max and Kaila, live in rural Bowling Green.
