Climbing Wall

The Student Recreation Center features a 35-foot tall climbing wall that provides opportunities for novice, intermediate, and advanced climbers. Climbers must purchase a Climbing Wall Membership at the SRC Welcome Desk. Belayers are required to pass a skills test and be re-approved by Recreation and Wellness staff annually. Rental opportunities are available.

Beginning July 6, a multi-phased Student Recreation Center reopening plan is underway that prioritizes the health and safety of our communities. Climbing Wall programming is not available at this time but is included in future phases of our reopening plan. As we reopen, health and safety protocols for staff and patrons including wearing face coverings and physical distancing are in effect and will remain so until further notice. Details relevant to these policies and information about future phases of our reopening plan are anticipated later in July.
