University Band

The University Band maintains the instrumentation of a large concert band. It performs large ensemble works and is focused on providing members with a variety of high-quality literature at an accessible level. The ensemble also provides music education majors with exposure to music and teaching techniques applicable to their future careers. University Band is open to all students with assignments made according to proficiency and instrumentation. Due to the nature of music ensembles, required performances will occur at times other than class times, and additional required rehearsals may be announced. This course may be repeated for credit.
