Melanie Walker

I am currently a Senior pursing a double specialization in Business Analytics and Marketing. Within the college, I am involved in Student Ambassadors on the executive board, serve as an Executive Contact for the Business Innovation and Technology Group, and I am a lead intern for Women’s Basketball sports marketing as part of the Screech Team on campus.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my friends, thrifting, and watching true crime documentaries on Netflix. I am a very social person and love to meet new people.

In relation to my studies, I will be working for Ally Financial post grad in an analytics role. I have been able to use both my marketing and analytic skills to understand the industry and provide meaningful data. I hope to become a professor later on in my career to share my love of learning with others.

The Schmidthorst college of business has provided me with immense opportunities and friendships. I am grateful for all the professors and faculty who have supported my academic and professional success as well as the amazing friendships that have provided support.
