Chris Spurio serves as the Chief Operating Officer of CBIZ Financial Services, the largest division of CBIZ, Inc (NYSE: CBZ). As COO, he is responsible for establishing and maintaining sound and consistent operating practices as well as driving its process improvement and strategic initiatives. Before becoming COO, he was Executive Managing Director for the group’s Midwest Region. Chris also served as CBIZ’s Vice President of Finance from 2000 and 2008.

Before joining CBIZ, Chris was associated with KPMG LLP where he specialized in audits of large, multi-national publicly-traded companies.

Chris graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1988 and earned a BS in Business Administration. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the AICPA and Ohio Society of CPAs and participates in various civic and professional organizations.
