E-Week

E-Week is a week filled with a host of events including The Hatch, the Sebo Series in Entrepreneurship and many other opportunities to engage with the Schmidthorst College of Business.

The Hatch

BGSU student entrepreneurs (Hatchlings) present their business ideas to a panel of judges, vying for funds to launch their businesses, similar to the popular television show "Shark Tank".

The Sebo Series in Entrepreneurship is the culmination of Entrepreneurship Week (E-Week) in which highly successful, world-class entrepreneurs come to campus to share their valuable messages to more than 600 business and community leaders, students, faculty and administrators.

Entrepreneurial Speakers

Throughout the year, successful entrepreneurs, from a variety of backgrounds, come to campus to discuss their entrepreneurial ventures with students, alumni, faculty and staff.

Hall of Fame

The Paul J. Hooker Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Hall of Fame recognizes BGSU graduates, honorary degree holders and members of the regional community who have achieved distinction for founding, leading or building a new business enterprise for five years or more.
