Shane-McClure-at-Audencia

Senior Shane McClure, specializing in supply chain management, spent the summer studying in Nantes, France, at the Ecole de Management at Audencia, a BGSU partner for nearly 40 years. Nantes School of Management is one of Europe’s leading business schools which is situated in Brittany, a culturally distinct region of France.

McClure had an experience of a lifetime and recounts his final weeks in France with his other classmates. “We have 32 nationalities represented here with 80+ students this week! This summer has been an unforgettable learning experience. It is so fascinating to be able to live and learn with so many other cultures. I can’t wait to make the most out of these last 2.5 weeks.”

Lively also praised her education abroad experience this summer. “Looking back on the classes I have taken this summer while studying in France, hands down this was the most influential. Learning about and understanding other cultures has helped me so much this summer.”

Lively, along with students from Germany, Australia and Costa Rica, was interviewed by Benoit Chalifoux, one of her guest speakers from Groupe Librex in Montreal, Quebec. The four students discuss their learning experiences.
