Doug Ewing receives tenure and promotion

Doug Ewing100x125Marketing Department Professor Doug Ewing was granted tenure and promotion to associate professor by the BGSU board of trustees in May.  Dr. Ewing joined BGSU in 2012 after earning his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati where he taught for two years.

His research interests include branding, symbolic consumption, and role-identity development. Dr. Ewing’s publications can be found in Psychology & Marketing, Journal of Brand Management, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Journal of Shopper Research, and Journal of Marketing Education as well as within a variety of conference proceedings publications.

The marketing professor was awarded the 2016 College of Business Alumni Undergraduate Teaching Award and he is the incoming faculty advisor for the student chapter of the American Marketing Association.
