Mindful Moments
Take advantage of virtual drop-in mindfulness sessions for faculty, staff, and students. Join us to reset, recharge, and learn simple tools to support your mental well-being.

Roots of Awareness: Mindfulness and Nature
Facilitated 4-sessions series exploring the connection between mindfulness and nature. Explore evidence-based strategies to build resilience, balance, and joy. Participants will receive "gratitude gifts” at each session including workbooks, yoga mats, and essential oil rollers.
- Wednesdays: Time: 9:30 – 10:30 am

June 3 | Student Rec Center
Enjoy time outside at the student rec center learning about the thinking v. observing mind and participating in several guided meditations focusing on breath work.
June 10 | Wintergarden Park
Be immersed in nature to practice nature-based mindfulness including walking meditation at Wintergarden Park.
June 17 | Marine Biology Lab
Learn about identifying and naming emotions, building self-compassion, and participating in mindfulness exercises - while visiting the wonderful marine life in the lab.
July 1 | Simpson Garden Park
Build your mind-body connection with gentle yoga and a focus on movement-based mindfulness practice. Yoga mats will be provided to the first 10 participants.
