BGSU aviation major Noah Pyle selected for American Airlines aviation internship Feb 21, 2020 3:01 PM Bowling Green State University aviation major Noah Pyle was selected for an internship with American Airlines at the company’s world headquarters in Dallas for Spring 2020. The internship, which began in January, is a six-month hands-on learning experience. As a flight operations Intern, Pyle’s work is geared toward pilots in training.

Online MBA program exceeds enrollment expectations Feb 19, 2020 3:00 PM Bowling Green State University’s online MBA program exceeded the enrollment expectations by 7%. The new program enrolled 32 students during its first cohort that started in January. The online MBA program is expecting even more growth with the possibility of more concentrations added to accommodate more students and meet demands.

Winners will appear in the March issue of Diverse: Issues in Higher Education. The award will be presented at the American College Personnel Association’s (ACPA) annual meeting in March.

The Falcon Funded platform, started in 2015, has surpassed $500,000 in donations and has been supported by more than 3,000 individual donors.

BGSU digital arts alumnus finds success with board game Mental Blocks Feb 3, 2020 2:30 PM Bowling Green State University digital arts, computer science alumnus Micah Sawyer has combined his graphic design and computer science fields to create a board game that encourages pausing, listening and elevating a situation to come to a broader perspective. Mental Blocks had a long journey from concept to co-op puzzle game.

Givens Fellowship aids BGSU student’s journey of self-discovery in Asia Feb 3, 2020 2:00 PM BGSU Asian studies major Nautica Savage knew that she felt a connection with Asian cultures, but she didn’t know why. She wanted to discover what she so strongly connected with in those cultures and come to a better understanding of who she is as a person. The Givens Fellowship provided that opportunity.
