  • BGSU receives $1.6 million grant to grow PPEL program BGSU has received a $1.6 million program grant from the Charles Koch Foundation to expand the Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law (PPEL) program. PPEL brings together distinct disciplines and provides students with an integrated curriculum, drawing on methods and insights of philosophy, political science and economics.

  • Shore, Traul appointed to BGSU Board of Trustees Amy Shore, of Bexley, Ohio, and Howard Traul, II of Bellefontaine, have been appointed by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine to the Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees. Shore will complete the term of former trustee Karen Morrison and will serve until 2022. Traul will serve a nine-year term.
