This rubric is for SAAC members to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement on the SAAC PLO Assessment Report. The criteria are rated using the following scale:

  • Missing – indicates information was not provided

  • Evolving – indicates information could be enhanced

  • Established – indicates information was clear and aligned.

If a rating is not applicable, the rating is left blank. Feedback and comments are also provided. If you have any questions about this report, please contact assessment@bgsu.edu.

  • Identified specific program learning outcome(s) (PLOs) (PLOs) assessed.
  • Provided information about who completed the assessment for the corresponding PLO by indicating the number of students who completed the assessment and noting class level or any other relevant information.
  • Provided the course(s) used to assess the corresponding PLO.
  • Indicated if the assessment is direct (preferred) or indirect. Direct measures assess student achievement of the PLOs (e.g., projects, papers, exams, portfolio, etc.). Indirect measures assess thoughts about PLOs (e.g., surveys or focus groups).
  • Indicated if the data were collected within a capstone class/assignment. A capstone is a culminating experience that integrates and applies learning.
