NEW LOOK, SAME GREAT CENTER

HookerBig news -- with the help from Mr. Paul Hooker, the Hamilton Center of Entrepreneurship has been renamed to the Paul J. Hooker Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. This honors the substantial bequest for the center and overall longtime support from BGSU alumni and Falcon Flames, Paul and Margo Hooker.

In addition to the bequest, Paul Hooker serves as a member of the center’s advisory board and has been a mentor for the highly acclaimed Hatch entrepreneurship program.  About the new naming, Mr. Hooker said,  “Over the years, I had such great memories of my beloved Bowling Green State University, that I felt compelled to get involved once again. I want to thank 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist, Scott Hamilton, for allowing the name change of the center, for he is yet another selfless BGSU Falcon who wants nothing for themselves and everything for the students at Bowling Green State University. I plan to work hard for Bowling Green in making the entrepreneurial center among the best in the country.“

We are excited about our new name change and continuing to provide excellent entrepreneurial education at BGSU.

I encourage you to stay engaged as we continue moving the Paul J. Hooker Center forward!  Please attend our events, share your success stories with us and come back to campus and speak to our students.  There are many opportunities to get involved and help us educate the next generation of entrepreneurs.

We invite you to join us as we continue going beyond business as usual in the Paul J. Hooker Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership in the Schmidthorst College of Business at BGSU.
