“The practical knowledge and accounting skillset I learned under the direction of the accounting faculty at the CBA provided me the tools I needed to succeed. In my upper level accounting coursework I learned skills and techniques of accounting that I now use on a daily basis.  The accounting faculty at  BGSU was top notch and had high expectations. They truly provided me the skills I needed to launch a successful career in the industry.

In addition, the many career building opportunities, from the job fair to employer mixers in the CBA Student Hub, provided me opportunities to network with other professionals and prospective employers.  If I’ve learned one thing so far in my career, it’s the importance of professional networking.  The BGSU CBA provided many opportunities to develop this skill and helped prepare me for the ‘real world’ post-graduation.  Recently I had an event with out of town co-workers and clients, not unlike the professional social events organized by the CBA.  Knowing how to interact with professionals is important in the business community and something that the CBA at BGSU did an excellent job preparing me for.”
