Consult
This is a time to discuss goals, exercise preferences, barriers, past experiences and present circumstances, and any questions the trainer or client may have about getting started on their fitness journey. Optional fitness assessments can also be discussed/conducted to measure strength, endurance and flexibility. Assessments can help establish a point from which progress can be measured.
