Menopause Strong | June 1 – July 31
8-week small group program designed to support women in perimenopause and menopause through a combination of education and guided strength training.
- Evidence-based support for women experiencing hormonal changes, weight fluctuations, decreased energy and loss of muscle mass.
- Each week integrates learning with practical applications in the gym, allowing participants to immediately implement what they are learning in a supportive and structured environment.
What to expect during Menopause Strong
- Weekly virtual educational sessions and discussion:
- Wednesdays, 12:15 PM via Zoom
- Weekly in-person small group strength training sessions:
- Mondays, 12:00 – 12:45 PM
or - Tuesdays, 5:15 – 6:00 PM

Sessions occur in the Private Personal Training studio at the Rec.

- Before and after assessments to measure progress:
- InBody body composition analysis
- Waist circumference and basic biometrics
- 30-second sit to stand test
- 1 rep max strength benchmarks
- 6-minute walk test
- Menopause symptoms and lifestyle questionnaire.
