Menopause Strong  |  June 1 – July 31

8-week small group program designed to support women in perimenopause and menopause through a combination of education and guided strength training.

  • Evidence-based support for women experiencing hormonal changes, weight fluctuations, decreased energy and loss of muscle mass. 

  • Each week integrates learning with practical applications in the gym, allowing participants to immediately implement what they are learning in a supportive and structured environment.

What to expect during Menopause Strong
  • Weekly virtual educational sessions and discussion: 
    • Wednesdays, 12:15 PM via Zoom
  • Weekly in-person small group strength training sessions:
    • Mondays, 12:00 – 12:45 PM
      or
    • Tuesdays, 5:15 – 6:00 PM
      Select which option works best with your schedule at registration.
      Sessions occur in the Private Personal Training studio at the Rec. 
  • Before and after assessments to measure progress:
    • InBody body composition analysis
    • Waist circumference and basic biometrics
    • 30-second sit to stand test
    • 1 rep max strength benchmarks
    • 6-minute walk test
    • Menopause symptoms and lifestyle questionnaire.
