BGP domain assessment data are submitted via Canvas and there are Canvas BGP Course Templates available for each BGP course. These BGP Templates include the corresponding BGP domain learning outcomes (LOs), assignment, and rubric. If you do not have access to the BGP Course Template for your course, please contact the Office of Academic Assessment at assessment@bgsu.edu for access.

This guide will assist you in copying/importing BGP Template content into your BGP course shell. BGP Templates contain the approved domain learning outcomes, an assignment placeholder, and a rubric with the imported domain learning outcomes. All sections of BGP course are to use the same, approved BGP assessment. For more details about the approved BGP assessment for your course, please review the BGP course proposal. If you do not have a copy of the BGP course proposal, please contact the Office of Academic Assessment at assessment@bgsu.edu.

This guide will assist you in importing BGP domain learning outcomes into your Canvas course shell by providing the steps for the process. Please note, there are BGP course templates that already have the domain LOs imported you can use. Guide for Submitting BGP Assessment Data via Canvas
BGP domain learning outcome assessment data are submitted via Canvas. This guide provides the steps needed to submit your data. At the end of the semester, go to "SpeedGrader" within the BGP assessment". Change the rubric view to “Traditional” to view the rubric in its entirety. Once you click the appropriate rating (i.e., exceeds expectations, meets expectations, does not meet expectations) for each BGP learning outcome, click "Submit Assessment" and move to the next student. Once you have finished the rubric for each student, you have completed your BGP assessment data submission process. Please note, if a student does not complete the BGP Assessment, leave the rubric for that student blank.
