Important Dates for Fall Semester 2026

Aug. 30, 2026Last day to add classes for students who have had their required academic advising appointment
Sept. 6, 2026Last day to drop classes or withdraw without penalty 
Sept. 7, 2026Students dropping a class on or after this date receive a “W” grade on BGSU transcript. Financial penalty may be imposed by school district
Nov. 13, 2026Last day to drop class, but still maintain enrollment. Dropping will result in a “W” grade on BGSU transcript. Financial penalty may be imposed by school district
Dec. 4, 2026Last day to withdraw from the term. Withdrawing will result in a “W” grade on BGSU transcript. Financial penalty may be imposed by school district
Dec. 7 – 11, 2026Final Exam Week 

First 7-Week Session (Aug. 24-Oct. 9, 2026)
