AI-Enabled Pedagogy Community of Practice

Community Information

This Community of Practice is offered in partnership with the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE), the College of Arts & Sciences, and the Michael and Sara Kuhlin Hub for Career Design and Connections. Funding for the Community was provided by Meta through the Data Center Community Action Grant.

Community Description:

This initiative is tailored for educators looking to design, (re)design, or refine their courses using VR and/or AI-enabled tools that help students to achieve mastery of course learning outcomes. During the academic-year Community of Practice, you will have the opportunity to transform your curriculum and pedagogy to use AI tools to effectively guide students toward academic success. You will join a community of peers dedicated to collaboratively working together to create impactful, student-centered experiences.

Community Learning Outcomes:

By participating in this community, you will be able to:

• Articulate actionable goals related to your teaching, scholarship, research, and/or creative activities.
• Reflect on your progress toward your goals. 
• Build sustainable habits through peer-supported accountability

Participant Expectations:*

As a member of this community, you are expected to:

• Meet the community learning outcomes.
• Actively participate in and attend at least 80% of the learning community's meetings.

*Participants in this community must meet the stated participant expectations in order to be eligible to receive funds for participation.
