Lunch and Learn Series

Each year, the Paul J. Hooker Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership E-Week programming includes a series of Lunch and Learn events, bringing entrepreneurial leaders from around the country to campus to speak about their experiences while the audience enjoys a free lunch. The Lunch and Learn events are open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and the general public.

Building on the 2022 E-Week theme, Turning Lemons into Lemonade, the topic for the Lunch and Learn series centered on how businesses had to pivot during the COVID-19 pandemic. Monday, April 18 - Wednesday, April 20 we welcomed four different BGSU alumni to speak to our attendees.

Steve Hanson '75 the founder and CEO of Hanson Inc. presented on Monday.
Joe Lisa '19 owner of Altric Holdings, Inc. and Tom Crookston '19 co-owner of Reverend's Bar & Grill and founder of Gen 4 Construction presented on Tuesday.
Sophia Jarrell '16, '18 owner and director of Black Swamp Fine Arts School LLC presented on Wednesday.
