Special Education

The Special Education program at Bowling Green State University offers degree and teaching licensure programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level as well as graduate certificates in specialization areas. Our licensure programs are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). Our faculty is committed to preparing educators and professionals who are confident and capable to meet the needs of diverse student populations. Members of the faculty have experiences, interests and expertise that relate to disability issues across the lifespan.
