Office of Student Experience and Support

The Office of Student Experience and Support promotes and advocates for a welcoming community within the College of Education and Human Development. Our team develops initiatives and intentional programming focused on connecting, challenging and supporting EDHD students.

Intended Outcomes

Through involvement with Student Experience and Support, students will:

  • Identify spaces within EDHD where they can find comfort and/or support.

  • Connect what they are learning in the classroom through social and co-curricular experiences.

  • Understand and apply best practices and skills for academic success.

  • Develop a range of leadership skills such as critical and reflective thinking, working through conflict, and effectively motivating others.

  • Demonstrate the ability to acknowledge and respect individuals with different backgrounds and social identities.

  • Recognize their role in creating a welcoming environment within the College of Education and Human Development.

The Office of Student Experience and Support staff is located in rooms 101 and 102 of the Education building. These spaces serve as a space to study, make meaningful connections, and have fun with other students.
