Biography
Justin Rex, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Bowling Green State University and a Research Fellow at the BGSU Center for Regional Development. He also serves as the MPA coordinator. His academic research is primarily in the subfields of Public Policy & Administration, with a focus on regulatory capture, the bureaucratic politics of financial regulation, and the regulation of white-collar financial crime. He also has research expertise in program evaluation and has written grants and technical reports in a variety of policy areas including the social/political determinants of health, transportation, special education, housing, and economic development. Recently, he collaborated on several research grant projects with local healthcare stakeholders focusing on infant and maternal health.
