Aimee Jeanne Burns

Aimee is a third-year doctoral student and graduate teaching assistant in the School of Media and Communication. Her research focuses on the dark side of interpersonal communication and stigmatized experiences of relational trauma. She is specifically interested in studying intimate partner violence and cyberstalking through interpretive, critical, and feminist frameworks. She is also pursuing a women’s, gender, and sexuality studies graduate certificate and is the Assistant Basic Course Director for BGSU’s COMM 1020: Introduction to Public Speaking.
