Morgan Durfee

Morgan’s research examines media audiences and enjoyment from a psychological perspective. She studies media consumption habits, with an emphasis on positive media psychology. Through social scientific research, Morgan investigates individual processes which motivate media use, medium selection, and their effects on well-being.  Her secondary line of research centers around social attitudes and perceptions of “dysfunctional” media use. Morgan is currently working on a project examining binge viewing and the concept of leisure time.
