Percussion Studio

The Bowling Green State University Percussion Studio provides students with a comprehensive, inclusive musical education that is rooted in the Western classical tradition, but also embraces jazz, popular musics, and global musical practices. The studio serves students at the undergraduate and graduate levels majoring in music performance, music education, jazz studies, and other disciplines both in and out of the College of Musical Arts. Faculty and students work collaboratively to create a strong sense of community that fosters positive relationships and individual growth. By learning from one another, we each have the opportunity to stretch outside of our individual comfort zones, challenging ourselves to learn new skills and become “total percussionists!”
