“BGSU/WNWO Academic Challenge” is a collaboration between Bowling Green State University, WNWO and WBGU-TV. Nearly 40 area high school teams will compete in an academic challenge tournament, with the winning school receiving a scholarship to BGSU.

In honor of Veterans Day, Bowling Green State University is offering free football tickets to area veterans and active duty service members for the Nov. 8 home game against Northern Illinois. Family of active duty military members currently serving overseas will also receive free admission. The game starts at 8 p.m.
