DMA Internships
DMA Internships
Students enrolled in the Doctor of Musical Arts in Contemporary Music degree at Bowling Green State University are required to fulfill an internship in a non‐academic setting. Examples might include work in foundations, orchestral management, museums, and the entertainment industry. Students will earn 4 hours of credit and should be onsite for approximately 160 hours. The student will work under the guidance of a supervisor at the internship site and a coordinator at Bowling Green State University.
The internship is an important part of the education of the students in the DMA in Contemporary Music program. The internship usually takes place after the second or third year of study and may be paid or unpaid.
