Auditions

Auditions for all opera productions 2026-27 will be held during the first week of classes

When: Thursday Aug 27, 4-5:45 PM and Friday Aug 28, 3:30-5:45 
Where: Conrad Room (Wolfe Center)
How: Sign-up for an audition time at this link

Audition requirements: 2 pieces (memorized)––one piece in English, one in a different language. 

Our incomparable Music Director, Kevin Bylsma, will be your pianist. Please bring paper copies of your music for him, 3-hole-punched and organized into a 3-ring binder.

BG Opera’s Season:

Fall 2026 operetta: Johann Strauss, Jr.’s Die Fledermaus in Kobacker Hall - the main roles have been cast, we are still casting for ensemble.

Spring 2027 opera: Lori Laitman’s Three Feathers in Donnell Theater - casting all roles! 

MicroOperas 2027 - casting all roles!
